Due to some exciting upcoming projects they are looking for a number of different engineers to join their team. We are currently looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer. 

Job description:

• Prepare electrical engineering designs, documentation, recommendations.
• Provide technical support for electrical engineering reviews, projects.
• Meet engineering compliance and safety guidelines by working to both UK and international safety standards and regulations for assigned design activities.
• Ensure electrical designs meet internal and external Customer specifications and fulfils the specification requirements of their assigned tasks.
• Manage allocated electrical design tasks and support other engineering stakeholders.
• Create engineered solutions, quality validation and evaluation requirements of electrical designs.
• Troubleshoot electrical design issues associated with production and operational dilemmas.
• Ensure change control procedures are followed and documented.

Experience required: 

• An proficient user of EPLAN design package to prepare: Circuit diagrams, panel schedules, Field cabling, Bill Of Materials, Single line diagrams etc.
• Has the aptitude to apply engineering first principles to electrical and safety designs.
• Must have the ability to read and understand:
• Electrical schematics,
• Mechanical engineering drawings in electronic (ACAD) or hardcopy format,
• Functional Design Specifications.
• Be computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications to intermediate level or above using: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• At previous electrical controls design experience in an automotive OEM, Systems Integrator or Controls environment.
• Application of electronic aids /designs for electrical studies, fault 
• Experience of leading an engineering team in an OEM, technical or design environment.
