Due to further, strategic expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for an NDT Technician to join them at their facility in Lincolnshire. Does this sound like the type of company that can offer you the secure career prospects you are seeking?

Reporting to the Head of Quality and working within the non-destructive testing team, you will use a variety of techniques to ensure that products meet customer requirements. The key responsibilities for your new role are as follows:

  • Magnetic Particle Inspection.
  • Penetrant Flaw Inspection.
  • Acid Etch Inspection.
  • Performing control and calibration tests to ensure full compliance.
  • Timely completion of administration data.
  • Carrying out inspection tasks in other areas, when necessary.
  • Compiling quality reports.

Essentially, my client would like to find a Level II qualified NDT Technician with a background of working in fast-moving manufacturing environments – ideally aerospace. Regardless of previous expertise, you will possess strong attention to detail, as well as being an excellent team player.

In return, my client is offering an excellent salary of £27,120 - £32,060 + shift premium, plus an excellent benefits package including 25 days holiday per year (plus Bank holidays), subsidised health care, personal accident plan, long service award, bike to work scheme, death in service benefit and a matched pension of 5%. Overtime is also readily available for those who want it.

The role operates on a rotating three shift pattern of earlies, lates and nights, as follows:

  • A shift – Monday to Thursday 6am to 1.35pm, and 6am to 12.45pm on a Friday.
  • B shift – Monday to Thursday 1.25pm to 9.05pm and 12.35pm to 7pm on a Friday.
  • C shift – Monday to Thursday 8.55pm to 6.10am.
