£53,000 - £65,000/annum + Car Allowance, Pension etc

A leading Civil Engineering and Groundworks Contractor are actively seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position based in Central Scotland.

What you’ll be doing:

  • The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the commercial team within their projects, including preparing tender and contract documents, including performing risk, value management and cost control;
  • You will manage the commercial team, perform cost analysis, seek funding options and prepare final accounts for submission;​​
  • Working on various groundworks and various civil engineering projects across Central Scotland
  • You will also be responsible for managing costs from inception to completion to minimise cost and maximising value for money;
  • You will be responsible for forecasting, commercial reporting and conducting CVRs.

What you need to be successful:

  • You will have a minimum HNC within Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying;
  • At least 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor;
  • NEC experience desirable;
  • Groundworks experience is highly desirable; previous civil engineering experience essential.
