Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

The company

Our client is a successful, family-run business producing high-quality products for the food industry and local community. They continue to grow from strength to strength and as a result, are now looking for a multi skilled maintenance engineer to join their team.

The Role

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, the engineering team are responsible for all maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of equipment on site. As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that all Production and Operations manufacturing equipment is supported and maintained to a high standard.

The person

Our ideal candidate has experience in a similar role within a food/FMCG manufacturing environment, ideally with similar machinery, and will be able to work independently as well as part of a team. They will also align with our company vision and values.

Technical skills/experience required:

• A recognised Engineering apprenticeship
• ONC/C&G Level 3 or higher
• Excellent communication skills
• FMCG experience
• Expert in fault-finding
• Experience using a computerised maintenance management system is desirable
