Role – CAD Technician

Salary – £32K - £37K

About the Company:

Our client here at Inform3 are currently recruiting for a CAD Technician to join their Design Team. The role will entail supporting our Design Team in a range of activities as we continue to provide a high standard fit-out service for our blue chip and independent clients.

The role will involve taking instruction from and reporting to the Design Team on a wide range of activities and working alongside Site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Producing clear and reliable designs from the concept stage through to construction.
• Managing the delivery of BIM models and CAD documentation of designs, as well as compiling BIM Execution Plans.
• Maintaining the overview of all aspects of development including BIM processes, 2D and 3D designs and coordinating MEP services to finalise a successful project.
• Preparing technical reports, specifications and schedules.
• Contributing to the planning of team workload.

Specification:

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Willingness to work across various industries whilst continually developing advanced and varied Solidworks product skills.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings.
• A Minimum of 3+ year post graduate years CAD / BIM experience within Building services.
• Comfortable working on concurrent projects.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
