Forklift Engineer (depot based)

One of the UK's leading material handling and access solutions provider are expanding thier engineering team. My client are looking for an Engineer with forklift, telehandler or relevant plant experience to join their growing team on a full time basis. This will be workshop based with the occasional customer visits and would suit an experienced engineer who is looking for a Monday - Friday days role with good overtime rates, a range of equipment to work on and an established team to work with.

Forklift Engineer job duties 

• Be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining various types of material handling machinery.
• Need to keep accurate records.
• Need to work with service and workshop managers and ensure challenging timelines are met.
• Travel to customers in the surrounding area of your depot to service and repair machinery when need be (Must have a full driving licence).
• Specialsing in Hyundai forklifts, Combilift, Gehl machinery and Manitou industrial machinery
• Required to problem solve and work under pressure in sometimes challenging conditions and to deadlines.
