CNC Milling Setter/Operator

Start Date: Immediate              

Location: Witchford, Ely                       

Hours: 32 hours Monday - Thursday (8am to 5pm) and Friday (8am to 2pm)

Salary: £13 - £16 p/h

Duration: Permanent

Benefits: 32 days holiday including bank holidays

Working as part of the production team your primary focus will be to undertake duties such as setting up and operating new and repeat jobs on CNC Milling Machines. You will also be required to provide support to operators, ensuring that all jobs are completed efficiently and on time.

Duties:

  • Setting and Operating CNC milling machines, following correct company procedures and methods to maintain consistency.
  • Machine components to a very high standard and be responsible for own quality.
  • Identify best suited tooling and manufacturing methods.
  • Minimize setup and run times whilst maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Train and assist other team members whenever required.
  • Maximize workflow on multiple machines.
  • Ensure programs, tooling and fixtures are saved and stored for future identification.
  • Adhere to health and safety.
  • Maintain a clean working environment.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience in a similar role and us
  • Proven track record of excellent attendance
  • Reliable and excellent time keeping
