Maintenance Engineer – Electrically Bias

Hours:                                  Permanent Nights – 10pm - 6am Sunday to Thursday – 42 hours a week

• £19.78 per hour - £43,195k per annum + OT available

The Client:                           

We are working with a successful manufacturing and distribution business in the Telford area who are at an exciting point in their organisational journey. They are looking for an experienced Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join their friendly team on a permanent night shift. You will be working closely with the Shift Manager to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of machinery onsite. This role will require a self-starter, someone who can manage their own time and duties during shift. You will be working on a variety of machines, carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance tasks, and reacting to breakdowns when needed to ensure the smooth running of plant machinery.

As the Electrically Bias Maintenance Engineer you will be getting involved in:

• Providing maintenance support across a variety of machines onsite
• Working to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of machinery
• Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks
• Reacting to machine breakdowns
• Conducting some PPM work when needed
• Installing and testing electrical circuits
• Ensuring Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to
• Identifying and raising any maintenance issues to management when required

To be successful in this role you will need:

• 17th or 18 edition wiring regulations
• ONC or HNC in electrical, electronics, or mechanical engineering
• Knowledge of PLCs would be ideal
• Experience working within a maintenance role
• Self-starter and problem-solving abilities
• Previous experience in a similar role such as Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Elec Bias Engineer / Electrically Bias Engineer / Elec Bias Maintenance Engineer / Electrically Bias Maintenance Engineer
