Job Title: Cutting Operator

Main purposes of Cutting Operator

To cut and prepare timber ready for machining.

To deliver outstanding customer service / quality of product.

To maintain compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

Cutting Operator - Key tasks

Preparation and cutting of timber products for Machining.

Use of timber cutting and machining equipment.

Use of Power tools.

General Housekeeping.

Maintain Quality Standards

Key results/objectives

Maintain focus on targets to service customer demands and meet deadlines.

Use company documentation to produce required components.

Maintain both company and legislative quality standards.

Store manufactured products safely and effectively.

Complete any relevant training needs for core skills, within your own role and multi skilling.

Demonstrate flexibility and team working to improve efficiency and effectiveness, meeting the needs of the business.

Required to work a reasonable amount of overtime to achieve deadlines as necessary.

Ensure work equipment / machinery is maintained in good working order.

Ensure all areas of work / material storage are clean and tidy.

Salary

We will pay a generous salary up to £24,000 per annum depending on experience.

We also provide 20 days annual holiday plus Bank Holidays, company pension scheme and uniform.
