CNC Programmer

Our long standing client in Walsall are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join their team. They are a fast paced machine shop, manufacturing parts for industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, and Power generation.
They manufacture components from a vast range of materials from soft plastics through to hard steels.
Working hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
Requirements:
The right candidate for the position will have the following skills.
- CAD: Competent using Solidworks
- CAM: Competent using SolidCAM 2.5D and advanced 3D (Please also apply if you have experience in AlphaCAM)
- Able to set and operate 3 Axis HAAS CNC Milling machine. (Please also apply if you have experience in Mazatrol, Heidenhain, or Fanuc.)
- Able to read technical drawings to a high level.
- Able to use measuring equipment.
- Have machining experience in a variety of materials.
Non-essential: if you have experience in the following areas please state when applying for the position.
- Machine maintenance
- CNC CMM experience
- 4/ 5 Axis experience
- HMC experience
- Turning experience Manual or/and CNC
- Manual milling experience
- 5S experience
- 6 sigma experience
- Robotic integration / line builder experience. (Fanuc, ABB, Etc.)
