CNC Setter Operator

Our long standing client in Walsall are looking for an experienced Milling CNC Setter/ Operator to join their team. They are a fast paced machine shop, manufacturing parts for industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, and Power generation.
They manufacture components from a vast range of materials from soft plastics through to hard steels.
Working hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
Requirements:
- Duties will include setting and operating of HAAS and Fanuc controlled machines.
- Previous experience in operating and setting a VMC and/ or HMC CNC machine in the last two years.
- Competent in setting and operating a Fanuc and HAAS milling machine
- Ability to read engineering drawings to a high standard.
- Ability to use measuring equipment such as a Vernier Calliper.
- Ability to follow instructions from a line manager.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.

- Machine maintenance
- 4/ 5 Axis experience
- HMC experience
- Turning experience Manual or/and CNC
- Manual milling experience
- 5S experience
- 6 sigma experience
- Robotic integration / line builder experience. (Fanuc, ABB, Etc.)
