Our client is a leading multi-utility company with a healthy order book for the next four years. Due to an increase in workload they are looking to expand their management team with an experienced Project Manager to oversee deep excavation mains replacement projects.

Salary to £65k | Company Car or Allowance + Fuel card | Annual Bonus | Pension | 25 Days Holiday + bank holidays

Key Essentials:

* Reporting to the Contracts Manager your role will involve project managing deep excavation for civils utility mains replacement projects. Work also includes backfill and reinstatement

* Overseeing a team of Site Agents, you will be responsible for conducting regular site progress meetings with the client

* Full responsibility for ensuring that all projects are constructed to CDM Regulations (RAMS) in a safe manner as per designs and that they are documented and recorded correctly

* Working closely with the commercial team on NEC contracts, ensuring that all variations are captured, dealing with early warnings and compensation events

* Ensuring that Project Planners are updated accordingly

* Ensuring that stakeholder management is prioritised at all times

* Carrying out regular site audits with the client and local authorities

Requirements:

* Previous project management experience of civils deep excavation on utility works in the highway with a good knowledge of current legislation, technical standards and specifications

* Commercial awareness (NEC contracts) with good knowledge of CDM Regs.

* Good I.T skills having ideally used MS Project previously (not essential)
