Overview:
A leading company in optical component manufacturing is hiring for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in taking products from concept through to manufacture to join their core development team.
You will be working alongside engineers of various disciplines (electronics, software, production etc) to cohesively develop and launch exciting new products.
This is perfect for anyone who genuinely enjoys tackling novel technical challenges and strives for personal and career growth. It is a very exciting time to join my client as they are in the early stages of several exciting new projects and there are several progression opportunities for the suitable candidate.
About you:
- 3 years minimum in an engineering (design) environment
- Experience with electro-mechanical components and devices
- Experienced in taking products from cradle to grave
- 3D CAD design
Bonus if:
- You have experience with optics
- Have SC Clearance
- Experience using Solidworks
