Senior Quantity Surveyor - Bathgate based - Great salary & package

The role entails overseeing the efficient commercial management and daily operations of the SPEN contracts, with a focus on supporting both the Operational and Commercial teams to meet profit targets. This includes managing a renewables project for a 132kV Wind farm connection, encompassing tasks such as OHL build, underground cable installation, civil works, and substation build.

Key requirements for the role include the ability to manage multiple subcontract packages, a strong grasp of contracts, proficiency in forecasting and Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs), familiarity with ERP systems like Coins, Causeway, SAP, etc., keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and the capacity to handle a busy workload within tight deadlines.

The role also involves regular travel to sites across Scotland.

Qualifications and training expected for this role include proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel, a degree or equivalent qualification, preferably a minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, experience in Utilities/Infrastructure or involvement in major projects valued at £5m or more, and prior experience with a contractor. A full driving license is also required.
