Lead Backend Engineer – Remote – £80-90k

Their highly efficient, quality products are trusted by their vast client base and they’re now looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to join their fast-paced team.

As a Lead Backend Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and advancing robust, secure, and scalable platforms that facilitate the continuous evolution of the company’s web-based products. You'll play a pivotal role within the team, contributing to defining the product development strategy in terms of technical approach and technology choices. While expertise in backend development is essential, familiarity with full-stack development or a strong understanding of frontend challenges would be advantageous as you’ll be collaborating with multiple teams across the business.

Key Skills required for this role:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar development role
• Solid experience with Elixir
• Experience with the Phoenix framework
• Experience developing cloud hosted internet platforms
