Full job description

Tier 1 Automotive interior trim supplier, manufacturing award winning products for the largest vehicle volume OEM's in the UK. The business provides a one stop solution for customer’s needs.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery

- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems

- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventative maintenance measures

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment and machinery

- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to management

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field

- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and components

- Experience with supervising and leading a team of technicians is preferred

- Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic repairs on machinery and equipment

- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus

- Welding experience is a plus

Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English

- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team

- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on providing high-quality maintenance support

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £39,844.80 per year
