Coming in as a Commercial Finance Director, you’ll be helping the business to achieve a massive growth in turnover as they look to expand internationally and across the UK. It’s not just about the numbers with this one, so if you’re the type of person better suited to the 4 walls of a Finance office then it’s probably not for you.

You’ll be analysing company performance and determining how to make it more profitable, leading the commercial establishment of new companies and ventures in the UK & overseas and working closely with the senior team to analyse growth plans and provide suitable guidance on the most effective ways to achieve company goals.

There’s a Head of Finance tackling the day-to-day responsibilities so you’re not going to get bogged down in payroll, your focus will be on the more strategic side of things. You’ll be looking at sourcing finance options for continued company growth and development, managing the P&L and cashflow and analysing the financial structure of the company.

Moving into the ‘Commercial’ side of the role, you’ll be taking the lead in managing & reviewing complex customer contracts and tender sign offs, in an ideal world, experience of doing this within Public Sector would be an advantage. There will also be management of Company IPs including patents, trademarks etc and management of any licensing or franchise agreements where needed.

The company are in a really exciting phase with some massive opportunities for you to really take them forward and launch them into a more Global market here, so a proper hunger to get them there will be key, however, you’ll need to be comfortable challenging the team if the plans aren't financially viable. Ultimately, there’s a really big opportunity to put your own stamp on the role and help to get the business to a position they’ve been wanting to for a long time.

In an ideal world, you’ll come from a Manufacturing background and professionally certified qualification in Finance i.e. ACA/CIMA. You’ll be based at their site in West Yorks and salary is around £100k plus package however there could be flex for the ideal person.
