The company designs, manufactures, and integrates custom robotic automation solutions for various industries including Pharma, Food and a few others. They serve an international customer base, enabling increased efficiency and competitiveness for their clients.

Opportunity:

Reporting to the CFO, as the Financial Controller you’ll be responsible for the financial and operational controlling activities of the company. You will create a comprehensive set of controls and budgets that will mitigate risk and increase accounting transparency on a company and project basis. Contributing to our client’s financial and accounting teams is vital; therefore, this role will provide a lot of opportunities for growth in the coming years.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, analyze results, and manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Support accounting team in statutory reporting and liaise with external auditors.
  • Develop and document business processes, ensuring internal controls are maintained.
  • Audit internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Ensure accurate product costing and evaluation of work-in-progress.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and review labor, material, and distribution costs.
  • Attend meetings with manufacturing, finance and sales management to discuss plant issues.
  • Document and improve ERP/accounting systems.
  • Assist in special projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Seeking candidates with 6+ years of financial controlling experience, preferably in a high-responsibility role within a project-based business model.
  • Knowledge of ERP and accounting (SAGE) systems
  • Cost/plant controlling within a project-based business model
  • Finance and accounting skills
  • English working proficiency
  • Strong analysis skills/problem-solving
  • Effective communication and team building
  • Personal effectiveness and credibility
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a Big4 Audit firm.
