Technical manager

Our client is  a small team and all flexible in our responsibilities because of this.

The company is currently building a CRM system from scratch which they are hopeful the new starter would be able to assist with.The company are keen to have someone come on board with this during the build phase so they can have their say and understand the system on a deeper level quicker.

Rough guide to responsibilities of the new starter (Not limited to):

- Point of contact for technical enquiries from internal and external sources.

- Provide technical support for the company's sales and purchasing activities.

- Offer hands-on technical support for assembly and magnetising activities.

- Support the company's quality activities through technical expertise including R&D reports.

- Point of contact for quality queries (internally, customers & supplies)

- Engage directly with customers, developing relationships from initial contact to a successful conclusion, including quoting and utilising the company's CRM system.

- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, handling both new and existing supply chain connections.

- Provide accurate costings to support sales activities by dealing directly with suppliers.

- Conduct visits to customers and suppliers, both domestically and internationally.

- Perform CAD activities, including 3D and 2D work (Training will be provided)

- Conduct FEM (Finite Element modelling) activities in support of the business using ‘EM Works’ SolidWorks plug-in magnetic modelling software.

- Reverse engineer customer-supplied products, providing engineering support, generating drawings, and creating supporting documentation.
