Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Composite Fitter to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Coventry working as part of their production team.

As a Composite Fitter specializing in Automotive and Motorsport, you will be an essential part of our dynamic team, responsible for crafting and assembling composite materials to create high-performance components for our vehicles. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping us achieve our goals of speed, efficiency, and precision in the automotive and motorsport industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand composite component requirements.

2. Prepare composite materials for fitting, ensuring accurate cutting, shaping, and lay-up.

3. Assemble composite structures, components, and bodywork using hand and power tools.

4. Utilize specialized bonding techniques and resins to secure composite parts effectively.

5. Collaborate closely with our design and engineering teams to implement the latest advancements and innovations in composite technology.

6. Conduct quality inspections to identify any defects or imperfections and ensure compliance with strict performance standards.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Composite Fitter within the automotive and/or motorsport industry.

2. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

3. Strong knowledge of composite materials, manufacturing techniques, and bonding methods specific to automotive and motorsport applications.

4. Experience working with carbon fiber, Kevlar, fiberglass, and other advanced composite materials.

5. Familiarity with industry-standard tools, equipment, and software used in composite fabrication.

This is a full time permanent Composite Fitter position, Mon – Fri (1pm finish on friday), offering an annual salary up to £44k (inc OT)plus annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products and free car parking.
