Our client will be working with the GPA under contract to a High-Profile Client. For this role security clearance to a high government level will be required which must be maintained throughout the term of this role.
Responsibilities
- Performs scheduled inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs, adjustments, testing, and troubleshooting of assigned mechanical equipment in accordance with plumbing codes, diagrams, operation manuals and manufacturer's maintenance instructions
- Observes mechanical systems and fixtures in operation to detect failures or locate causes of malfunctions. Dismantles devices and removes defective parts. Inspects used parts and equipment for changes in calibration, dimensional requirements and manufacturer's specifications. Tests and calibrates systems and equipment to ensure proper system operations using test equipment or precision measuring instruments
- Lays out work assignments, determines methods, techniques and materials needed to effectively accomplish assignments
- Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, and Company policies related to building operations and work safety
- Deliver a quality service through your day-to-day actions
About You
- In country Qualified Mechanical Technician
- In-country Licensed Mechanical Technician. Significant experience in providing mechanical building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, installation, and inspection/testing
- Security clearance to a high government level will be required
- Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance
- Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties
- Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements
- Evidence Training and competence in managing High Risk Works (Mechanical)
