Mobile Mechanical Engineer

£50,000  plus vehicle/ fuel card and package

Monday to Friday -  London, within M25

Are you a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity with a structured career path?

This position would be ideal for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer with an in depth technical knowledge of mechanical plant, currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary in the region of up to £50,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

The Mobile Mechanical Engineer will carry out planned and reactive commercial building maintenance across a commercial portfolio. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of servicing and repairing mechanical equipment in plant rooms such as pumps, pressurisation vessels, heating systems and plumbing works at various commercial properties.

Requirements

•           Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 (recognised Mechanical or Plumbing trade qualification).

•           In depth knowledge of mechanical plant in a commercial setting

•           Strong diagnostics and repair skills

•           Full clean driving license.



Key duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical plant
• Pump overhauls, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Maintain and update Logbooks
• Working to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimes
• Managing priorities within contract constraints. 
• Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours.
• Providing information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance.

• Salary of £50,000per  annum,
• 40 Hours Per week
• Plenty of Over Time available
• Call out 1 in 8
