Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Salary / Benefits: £24k - £38k + Company Vehicle + Benefits
Expanding Legionella / Water Hygiene Company are currently seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team. Applicants will have a strong background in legionella compliance and risk assessing and will be confident working on both hot and cold domestic systems. The successful candidate will be based around the Berkshire area and will be covering contracts across the surrounding counties. Candidates will hold a positive attitude and will be flexible and happy to travel as part of the role.
Consideration will be given to those in areas such as; Reading, Bracknell, Slough, Camberley, Farnborough, Aldershot, Farnham, Guildford, Woking, Basingstoke, Newbury, Crawley, Horsham, Epsom, Croydon, Kingston upon Thames, Hounslow, and the surrounding areas.
Experience / Qualifications:
- City & Guilds or WmSoc in Legionella Risk Assessing.
- Hands on experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant.
- Experience risk assessing on Hot and Cold Water Systems.
- Working knowledge of L8 guidelines and compliance tasks.
- Full UK Drivers License.
The Role:
- Working on domestic hot and cold systems undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments.
- Using handheld PDAs to complete report.
- Reviewing existing risk assessments
- Producing schematics of hot & cold-water services
- Undertaking water sampling.
- Temperature monitoring.
- Chlorinating and disinfecting on hot and cold-water systems.
- TMV servicing.
- Ensuring work is being carried out in accordance with HSG / ACoP L8 Guidelines.
