National Operations Manager

Location: Homebase in the Midlands Area

Salary: Circa £60k - £65k plus fully expensed company Car

A specialist manufacturing company who supplies into the Defence, Aerospace & Automotive Industry now requires a National Operations Manager to join their team.

National Operations Manager – Job Overview:

The company operates across 35 customer locations, which includes sensitive sites such as MOD, Defence and Aerospace.  Each site has at least two employees on site who provide the customer with support on their products.

There are also two regional managers reporting into this position which totals around 85 employees.

The role will be to implement and manage the company’s operational strategy and ensure the people on the ground are managed effectively and that the day to day operations are running smoothly as well as undertaking regular customer reviews.

This is a strategic and commercial role.

National Operations Manager – Person Requirements:

The ideal candidate MUST come from the Manufacturing Industry as an Operations Manager.  You will also have the following skills, qualifications or experience:

• Ideally hold an engineering qualification or management qualification such as HNC, HND, BEng, MBA or similar
• Ideally hold a SixSigma qualification but not essential
• Experience of managing multiple sites
• Ideally have experience of managing large teams of remote workers

You will be required to attain Security Clearance so only those eligible will be considered for this role.
