T2M are currently working alongside a leading engineering services group focussing on industrial machinery in a variety of sectors, to help them to recruit a Projects Manager.

As a Projects Manager you would be responsible for the successful delivery and management of projects, overseeing all commercial, operational, financial, customer and employee strategy.

Key Duties as a Projects Manager

• Detail project timeliness and take Full P&L, budget and commercial responsibility of projects.
• Management of project costs and risks to improve efficiencies, performance and profitability.
• Understanding contracts to read, interpret and implement appropriate controls utilising support from the management and Commercial team as required.
• Management of team Field Managers and Engineers, ensuring all work carried out is to company and legislative standards and procedures.
• Maintain and manage Health & Safety standards within the team and to sub-contractors.
• Highlight areas for team improvement, implementing training to encourage development and promotion from within.

Skills and experience required to be a successful Projects Manager

• An electrical engineering background, with knowledge of power generation, generators, motors or other associated rotating machinery desirable.
• Project Management skills such as: planning, budgeting, and working to timelines.
• A background delivering site services projects (service, maintenance and installation projects).
• Team management experience of remote and field-based staff across a broad geographic area.
• Confident with excellent communication, interpersonal and management skills.

This role will be based from the office in Rugby with a flexible requirement to travel to customer sites to visit clients. There is a salary of up to £60,000 available for the role depending on experience alongside a car and other benefits to.
