TPT2252             Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

My client is a very well established Building Servies Engineering Practice based in St Albans, Herts, who, as part of their expansion are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

You will have at least 10 years experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer and ideally Chartered or working towards this.  Must have clear and concise English Language skills and the ability to be proactive and work with clients at all levels.

Their main industries they work within are Hospitals, Education and Property Developers although they would prefer an engineer with experience of working with hospitals due to the compliance and terminology used.

The role responsibilities will include:-

• Working with clients both over the phone and attending site (mainly London and Home Counties)
• Undertake design work using Autocad for HVAC, heat pumps, natural gas, specialist gased, medical gases, soil and wastes and control systems but may include other area’s.
• Dealing with designs from concept stage to construction stage.
• Working as part of the project team dealing with design, engineering standards, procedures, schedules and budgets.
• Design using Autocad Lt

This is an office based role working as part of a successful small team in St Albans.
