Air Conditioning Engineer required - London and Home Counties - to £48k+, plus Van and benefits.

We are working with an established HVAC Service provider and due to continuous growth and contract awards they are now looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with F-Gas to cover a number of Blue Chip clients across London and the surrounding Home Counties.

The company

Established in early 2000, our client provides specialist HVAC services to a range of High End and Blue Chip clients. They are REFCOM and Gas Safe registered and have also attained the Construction Line and Safe Contractor approved status.

Duties

On site, the Air Conditioning engineer shall be confident and competent to resolve issues with all makes, models and types of HVAC equipment, including but not restricted to, Split Type, VRV/VRF, Unitary Air Conditioning Units, CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning), AHU (Air Handling Unit), Water Chillers and more. The engineer shall be qualified to City and Guilds Level 2 in HVAC (or equivalent) and hold a Category 1 F Gas 2079 qualification.

The engineer will report issues to the clients on site verbally and ensure that all job sheets, PPM tick sheets, Pressure Test certificates and more are provided to the office for onward reporting to the client. All to be done in a timely manner, preferably while still on site, to ensure the client understands and signs for the works completed.

Location of work 

Our client is willing to accept candidates anywhere in West London to North London area and the Home Counties to join the existing team of engineers covering this patch.

Working Hours: M-F, 08:00-17:00 with 1 hr for lunch.

Type of sites / contracts to be worked on. – Blue Chip Clients or NGO Offices, Data Centres and Critical Infrastructure. 

Skills and Qualifications
F Gas Category 1 (2079)
City and Guilds Level 2 in HVAC or above
Full UK Driving Licence (No more than 6 points)
Computer Literate (Microsoft Products, inc. Word, Excel and Outlook)
Commercially aware
Able to pass a DBS check for working on secure sites
Additional - Desirable but not essential courses and qualifications:-
18th Ed. IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness, IOSH Working Safely and more

Salary / Benefits package

  • Salary dependant on experience to £48k+

  • Company issue Specialist Tools and equipment (the engineer shall provide suitable hand tools, such as screw drivers, hammer, spanner etc. The company will provide any tool that requires testing or calibration ie multimeter, amp clamp, reclaim unit etc.)
