I am working with a large national, Tier 1 Contractor who have a new opening for a Managing Quantity Surveyor for their Glasgow office. 

This is to work on a large Power and Civil Engineering framework where you will be responsible for leading a team of Quantity Surveyors to deliver on all Commercial aspects of multiple projects. 

Responsibilities include:

• Responsibility for all sub-contractor management on Framework

• Ensure all sub-contractors and suppliers have submitted compliant quotations/enquiries/applications within the timescale required

• Produce all documentation to select and secure services as well as monthly assessments, variations/CE claims and final account agreements 

• Manage the performance and development of the Quantity Surveyors to ensure key contract objectives are documented and delivered.

• Support the Commercial Manager in identifying areas for improvement, leading on initiatives as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Qualified Quantity Surveyor or relevant discipline
• Minimum 8 years of experience 
• Previous experience within Civil Engineering and/or Power Generation very beneficial
• Experience of managing a small team 

Benefits:

• Salary of between £60,000 and £65,000 DOE
