My client is a leading Solar PV Installations company based in Nottigham and focussed on the Midlands. Due to continued success they are recruiting Sales Consultant to play a crucial role in expanding the reach of clean energy in both residential and commercial sectors.

Job Description:

As a Solar PV Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of our mission to make clean energy accessible to everyone. This role primarily focuses on domestic solar installations for consumers, but having some commercial experience would be advantageous. You will be responsible for engaging with potential clients, understanding their energy needs, and providing tailored solar solutions to promote a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with residential customers, guiding them through the benefits of Solar PV installations.

  2. Consultative Selling: Conduct in-depth consultations to understand clients' energy requirements, provide information on solar solutions, and tailor proposals to meet their specific needs.

  3. Proposal Development: Create compelling and detailed proposals outlining the advantages of our Solar PV systems, including cost savings and environmental benefits.

  4. Sales Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions in the company's CRM system.

  5. Commercial Sales Support: Collaborate with the commercial sales team when opportunities arise for commercial solar installations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, with a focus on domestic solar installations.
  • Knowledge of Solar PV systems and the renewable energy industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with commercial solar installations is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
