Role- Cad Technician

Location- Rotherham (S65)

Hours – Mon- Thurs 8am- 5pm, Fri 7am-4pm (42.5 hrs)

Salary- Negotiable depending upon experience.

We are working with a reputable and well-established laser Profiling and Fabrication Engineering company based in Rotherham. The company do one off bespoke design as well as batch work. Currently looking for an experienced Cad Engineer who is proficient in the use of Solidworks to join the team.

Duties/Skills will involve – 

• Creating Fabrication/Engineering drawings for component parts, ensuring manufacturability.
• Conduct revisions and amendments to drawings based on Customer requirements.
• Document incoming and outgoing product designs meticulously.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D and Solidworks.
• Experience or working at Subcontract level within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
• Ability to Communicate with customers, Improve cost and efficiency.

Experience of working with Laser’s/Press brakes or with sheet metal would be a distinct advantage but is not essential as product training can be given.

Overtime is payable at 1.25 hourly rate for weekdays and 1.5 at weekends.

The company have a profit related bonus scheme at 8%, calculated every 3 months, paid the month after, the scheme is open to new members each January and you must have completed 6 months employment to join.

23 Days annual leave + 8 statutory, (3 days used to cover the xmas break)

+ 1 additional day for your birthday.
