£38,000 - £44,000/annum

Our client is a leading global supplier within the decontamination space. They provide solutions for surgical equipment sterilisation and disinfection for local hospitals and medical clinics. Their focus is to install confidence within customers to advance medical care and protect the lives of patients and staff. 

Role Overview:
You will focus on the maintenance, testing and validation of high-end decontamination equipment for local hospitals and medical clinics in the South East and Midlands. (London, Brimingham, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire etc) 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites across the South East and Midlands. (London, Brimingham, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire etc) 
  • Carry out installation work for capital equipment. Attend machines or sites as requested by the Technical Manager to undertake the assessment of removal or placement of equipment.
  • Provide advice to potential clients on site and if necessary, carry out site surveys. Reporting back in a formalised manner in line with appropriate Company Procedures.
  • Attend machines or sites as requested by the Technical Manager to undertake the assessment of ongoing installation problems and/or carrying out an investigation into the problems and/or carry out the necessary work to resolve the machine(s).
  • Undertake and/or supervise and/or manage the site work required to deal with product installations and where necessary product upgrades, modifications, safety recalls, etc, when required to do so in support of the Technical Manager.
  • Will be prepared to take on the normal duties of a Service Engineer i.e. servicing, repairs, etc. when not undertaking installation work.
  • Record installation queries and responses in reports, etc. and if required on the Service/Company database(s)

Person Specification:

  • Qualification in electrical installation or electrical engineering.
  • Qualified to current edition IEE wiring regulations and C&G Test Persons Certification would be advantageous.
  • Self- motivated
  • Willingness to undertake training
  • Flexible and approachable
  • Work well with others
  • Full valid driving licence
