Hudson Shribman are looking an experienced Mechanical Fitter capable of running a team.
Lead Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities
- Oversee all machine builds while also assisting with fitting
- Working alongside the Production Manager, updating on successes, issues, concerns & opportunities
- Demonstrate strong engineering, mechanical skills to assist with manufacturing/production problems
- Be responsible for department H&S, making sure work area checks are carried out at the end of work day
- Covering area/tasks in the absence of the Production Manager
- Making sure all production is ready for electrical work
Lead Mechanical Fitter Requirements
- Minimum of 5-year's experience, in a mechanical manufacturing environment
- Experience with Mechanical Special machine building and fitting
- Understanding and working to technical drawings, using measuring instruments & following SOP's
- Bench craft skills
- Basic/general Manual machining and Electro-mechanical experience desirable
