Mechanical Design Engineer, SolidWorks

We’re Hiring: As they expand, they're on the hunt for a dedicated Mechanical Design Engineer to spearhead both new and existing projects. Your role will be pivotal in designing cutting-edge machinery, control systems, and equipment, ensuring alignment with client and industry standards.

Your Impact:

• Design and development of bespoke machinery products, including components, full client specification, and more.
• Collaborate closely with Customers, Sales, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams, providing critical updates, and facilitating design reviews.
• Support through commissioning/build phases, answering queries related to assembly, operation, and testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in line with our Quality Management System (QMS).

What You Bring:

• Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD modelling & Drafting (SolidWorks preferred).
• Hands-on experience in design analysis, value engineering, and document management systems (SolidWorks).
• BEng or BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with a strong portfolio of design engineering within bespoke systems/machine design and manufacture.
