Electrical/Mechanical/BMS Shift Engineer
Radius has an exciting opportunity to work for a data center organisation that is expanding it's operations.
My client is looking for someone who has an electrical, mechanical, or BMS background and is ready to take on a hands-off role and develop their support, analytical, and management skills.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Supporting the company's commitment to and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
• Ensuring the engineering systems are proactively monitored via the building management and electrical management systems (BMS / EMS) 24 x 7 x 365.
• Conducting engineering-based assessments on BMS and EMS-based alerts; evaluating operational and customer service risk; and reporting validated alarms in accordance with incident management (IM) procedures.
• Reporting issues pertaining to engineering systems availability and/or design efficiency; assessing technical design and O&M information; and associated schematic drawings.
• Support the Preferred Maintenance Contractor (PMC) with first-line incident response, containment, and resolution, providing technical support and assistance to operational staff in the progression and closure of incidents.
• Produce and distribute service performance reports on technical third-party suppliers in accordance with agreed service levels.
