CNC PROGRAMMER MILLER

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to work for our client who are located in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A CNC MILLER:

  • Programming machines using fanuc controls
  • Read, interpret, follow engineering drawings to manufacture precision parts.
  • A good eye for detail and the ability to maintain a very high level of quality is essential.
  • Whenever possible you will be required to set and operate more than one machine.
  • Maintain delivery of quality projects to scheduled department/Delivery dates.
  • Ensure parts are manufactured to desired tolerances as instructed.
  • Writing and proving programs for machines as required.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working within a precision manufacturing background
  • CNC Programming skills
  • Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS:

You will work day shift but later in the year it may change to rotating weekly

Days at present Monday - Thursday 6am – 4pm

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of between £16-18 per hour depending on experience.
