My client in Moorgate is looking for a Commissioning Engineer due to expansion.

Ideally, you will be able to:

• Work independently for most of the role but also as part of a team.
• Use a laptop and our commissioning software as your primary tools.
• Read and interpret technical guides, drawings, and schematics.
• Work to tight deadlines.
• Communicate directly with our clients to advise them of project progress, and highlight any remedial actions needed by them.
• Construct detailed post-visit reports.
• Operate with a problem-solving mindset and approach.

About you:

You need to have completed an electrical qualification, covering 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.  If you are experienced in lighting controls (addressing DALI control devices and lighting) with a knowledge of IP network interfaces, that will be advantageous.  You should be a CSCS card holder, and preferably the Gold ECS card.  You should have good communication skills for the client liaison and report writing that is an essential part of the job, and you should be someone focused on offering excellent customer service!  As a lot of our work is in London you will need to be within commuting distance of there, and also be available to work in other locations within the UK as required.  Additionally, we require our Engineers to be available to work a minimum of one Saturday per month as overtime, and other overtime as required is a necessity for this role.
