Civil Engineer

Hello,
My client in Penrith is looking for a Civil Engineer due to expansion.
The successful candidate for this post will be an experienced chartered civil engineer with a strong design consultancy background.
Key elements to the civil engineering post would cover:-
- Drainage design which would assume fluency with WinDes design package.
- Highway design relative to design of access roads, pavements, hardstandings etc.
- SUDS design.
- Channel modelling using HecRas.
- Preparation of both Section 104 and Section 38 applications.
- Preparation of flood risk assessments.
- Design of flood protection measures.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies.
- Liaise with clients.
- Technical report preparation.
- Attendance of design and site meetings.
- Supervising technician/graduate engineers.
- Preparation of quotations.
- Managing project expenditure.
- Controlling workload.
- We would consider a UK driving license essential to carry out the above noted roles.
- Candidates must have a sound working knowledge of all relevant British Standards, Codes of Practise and CDM regulations.
