Data Centres, it seems like over the last 2 decades they have come out of nowhere to become one of the largest, and most recession proof, construction sectors in the world. Mechanical or Electrical Site Manager – What you’ll be doing.

You’ll be working on smaller Data Centre Projects in Slough and London for an M&E company who operate as the principle contractor. You will be predominantly based on site with some hybrid working, project depending.

• As the site Manager you will Attend site meetings as directed by the Contract Manager.
• Liaise with other stakeholders during meetings and provide evidence-based site progress reports including (photos), 2-week look ahead, issues log and risks register.
• Undertake take offs, material selection and order materials in accordance with the set procedures.
• Review site reports, designs and drawings and provide practical feedback on installation methods and improvements in line with best practice.
• Manage and understand the contract programme and produce short term/medium term updates as required.
• Report on overall operation of their programme, labour, opportunities, health and safety and any other matter that may arise in contract reports and to the business as required.
• Responsibility for the subcontractor site-based project documentation, items such as RAMS, permits, void closures.

Mechanical or Electrical Site Manager – What you Need.

• Critical Infrastructure experience (Critical plant / Pharmaceutical / Hospitals)
• Construction and / or Engineering Qualification NVQ Level 3 or greater
• SSSTS
• Black CSCS
• First Aid
• Knowledge of the construction and engineering industry’s statutory requirements, methods and processes – Specifically the CDM and Construction Phase Plan.
• Full Driving Licence

You will receive a salary of £55,000 - £65,000 along with a package of:
