Headley have a live vacancy for an experience R&D Design Engineer for a market leading company based near Leeds.
The company is a machinery manufacturer with an impressive range of products, and this role is an important addition to their design team where you will front the development of new products and solutions.
This is a lead role in the department
The role demands an experienced engineer with an innovative approach and the ability to overcome problems through new concepts and design.
Key responsibilities to include:
- Design and development of new products
- Prototyping
- Implementing new products into production
- Working with colleagues in Technical, Sales, Production to understand project schedule
- Ongoing industry and product research
About you:
- Experienced design engineer with significant experience in R&D, design of new concepts, creating innovate solutions to problems
- Innovate and creative outlook
- Experience working for a manufacturer
- Self starter, able to work independently
- Effective project management
- Proficient with Cad software, likely SolidWorks or Inventor, or similar
- Engineering degree
