The company design and manufacture bespoke test engineering systems and test machinery for various industry sectors including automotive and defence. Due to increased sales and growth they are seeking to strengthen their team by the recruitment of a Business Development Engineer to the team.

Reporting to the Sales Director  - the main purpose of the role is to develop and expand the client base and provide technical and commercial support.

Key responsibilities and duties would be;

• Provide technical advice to both customers and colleagues across the business
• Provide technical proposals and quotations to meet client requirements
• Travel around the UK and occasionally overseas for client meetings 
• Strive to build new and strengthen existing relationships with customers 
• Represent the business at trade shows

I would be keen to receive your application if you are a Business Development Engineer who holds the following experience and skills;

• Hold a strong engineering aptitude and technically minded
• Have a technical sales background
• Hold a passion for sales and meeting targets
• Commercially aware
• HNC / HND qualified preferred
• Ability to prioritise and work on multiple projects at any one time
• Strong working knowledge of MS software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Projects)

The role is a day shift Monday to Friday with some flexibility in working hours

The company are based in the Malvern area so are easily commutable from Worcester, Hereford, Cheltenham, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Redditch, Birmingham

Salary - up to £50,000 per annum

A company car will be provided.
