The company design and manufacture bespoke test engineering systems and test machinery for various industry sectors including automotive and defence. Due to increased sales and growth they are seeking to strengthen their team by the recruitment of a Sales Engineer to the team.

Reporting to the Service Manager  - the main purpose of the role will be to provide technical proposals and quotations to clients and to develop client relationships

Key responsibilities and duties would be;

• Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, quotes and responses to RFQ's
• Work closely with sales and projects teams to identify new opportunities and contribute to account growth
• Visiting clients in person for sales and promotional purposes
• Strive to build new and strengthen existing relationships with customers 
• Obtain feedback from clients regarding product performance and features and communicate this information back to projects teams
• Address of any customer enquiries and queries 

I would be keen to receive your application if you are a Sales Engineer who holds the following experience and skills;

• Hold a strong engineering aptitude and technically minded
• Commercially aware
• HNC / HND qualified preferred
• Ability to prioritise and work on multiple projects at any one time
• Strong working knowledge of MS software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Projects)

The role is a day shift Monday to Friday with some flexibility in working hours

The company are based in the Malvern area so are easily commutable from Worcester, Hereford, Cheltenham, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Redditch, Birmingham

Salary - up to £40,000 per annum
