Senior CAD Technican - Civil Engineering
My Client a UK leading independent and employee-owned multi-disciplinary are seeking a Senior CAD Technician to join their expanding Civil Engineering team in Bedford.
Job Description for Senior CAD Technician
- Preparing drawings to support planning applications.
- Preparing drawings to support s38, s104, and s278 applications.
- Preparing engineering base plans to support the detailed design of sites.
- Liaising directly with clients when necessary.
Person Specification (Knowledge and Experience)
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
- Knowledge of MicroStation - Desirable
- Excellent presentation skills and drawing set-up
- Previous experience of civil engineering (particularly roads and drainage and within the residential sector).
- Proactive
- Self-motivated
- Able to work under pressure
- Adaptable to rapidly changing projects
- Proven ability to work well within teams and willingness to take accountability for own wok.
- Be able to liaise with clients in a professional manner.
Key Performance Indicators
- Accuracy in drawing word.
- Efficiency and use of time.
- Be able to liaise with clients.
Salary
- £32k - £35k depending on experience.
