The Client

Our client has over 20 years’ experience in all types of survey work, and pride themselves on providing good quality, accurate surveys to their customers across a variety of industries, including transport, construction, building and property.

The role

Our client is seeking a Project Delivery Surveyor to join their team. You will be responsible for specific survey projects, leading survey activities, managing multiple survey teams, and assisting the Project Manager, Senior Surveyor, and Principal Project Manager. The Project Delivery Surveyor will manage complex survey tasks and organise personnel for each project.

You will also be the first point of contact for clients and also assist in tendering and bids for projects.

The Requirements

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, and can work well as part of a team. Ideally, as a candidate you should have the following:

  • Have at least 5 years of rail surveying experience.
  • Working knowledge of surveying equipment including Total Stations, gauging, laser sweep/roller sweep, and GPS systems, as well as AutoCAD, SCC, LSS software.
  • Experience working across a wide variety of environments and on complex surveys.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexibly.
  • A full UK driving licence.
