The company
My client is a large food manufacturing firm who supplies to most of the main retailers in the UK. Specialising in high volume bakery products.
The role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will work collaboratively within the engineering team, providing support in investigating means of improving plant productivity and also investigating and establishing causes for all breakdowns and damages. You will execute hands-on planned and unplanned maintenance activities to agreed standards, ensuring safe working at all times, actioning any repairs and ensure that all measures taken are recorded so recurrent faults can be recognised.
The person
The ideal candidate will have strong electrical engineering experience and at least a basic level in mechanical engineering. Experience in the food manufacturing industry would be an advantage but not essential.
