Service Engineer

We are pleased to be working with a fantastic East London-based client who is looking to secure a motivated Service Engineer to join the business, this role will be a mix of on-site workshop with some travelling to customer sites as and when required.
The Role:
- Carry out repairs to all equipment such as compactors
- Carry out maintenance servicing to all equipment
- Carry out preventative maintenance works to all equipment
- Fault finding on all equipment and, out on site and at workshop/depots
- Carry out electrical and hydraulic refit/design where required
- Provide technical advice to customers relating to compaction equipment/power supplies etc when requested
- Responsible for regularly checking the upkeep of company vehicle and reporting any defects
- Transfer knowledge to other staff members who can learn from your experience
- Carry out training and installs where required.
About you
- Strong customer focus
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible
- Experience working on compactors and balers preferable
- Experienced Field Service Engineer preferable
- Single or 3 phase electrical qualifications or experience
- Hydraulic experience is essential
- Welding skills an advantage
- Driving license
