Assembly Fitters - Coleford - Permanent role - Competitve salary to be discussed on the phone

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Our client works in a niche sector providing top solutions for pumps. Our client is well known to provide a multiple of pumps for different purposes. They are a global company which can offer progression and support throughout your career growth. 

With this role the client is looking for an enthusiastic fitter who is keen to get into a well known company, they will help with progression and with this role you can move up into a managerial and team lead position. 

Key Responsibilities of the Assembly Fitter

• Read engineering drawings to build bare shaft pumps.
• Use engineering drawings to assemble diesel electric skid sets.
• fill out production data books with all critical information needed.
• Perform basic quality checks and complete check sheets. 
• Use initiative to ensure pump assemblies are correct. 
• Work with planners to make sure assembling is to schedule. 
• Communicate with the companies vendors.

Requirements for the Assembly Fitters:

• Completion of an engineering apprenticeship, NVQ3 or equivalent of 3 years experience, or minimum of 5 years assembly experience with Pumps or similar. 
• Previous experience in a production environment.
• Able to read engineering drawings.

Shift Allowance on double shift 37.5 hours - 30 mins unpaid lunch.
