Air Conditioning / Chiller Engineer - Major Service Provider!

£44,000 - 50,000 + Paid Travel (OTE:- £63,000+)

An industry leading Air Conditioning & Chiller Service Provider are looking to add a senior engineer to their team due to further continued growth, covering Berkshire & Surrounding! (No / Minimal London work!)

The successful engineer will ideally be considered an ‘all rounder’ with experience working on systems such as VRV, VRF, Multi Split and Close Control, across a range of environments with cooling required for both comfort and critical.

Chiller experience is desirable, but can also be provided, with a view to progressing into a dedicated chiller bias role, if desired by the successful engineer!

You will have a background consisting of service and maintenance works, including both pre planned and reactive, from basic maintenance through to major repairs, including compressor changes, fan motor changes, and large scale leak repairs. Fault finding skills, both mechanical and electrical, are an absolute necessity.

There is a fantastic career path on offer, with the potential to gain further exposure to chillers, or even suit a time served chiller engineer. By all means, if you'd rather stay as a dedicated A/C specialist, there's plentiful opportunity for that also - They have a fantastic reputation from promoting from within and developing ‘their own’, with all of the management team coming through the ranks organically.

With paid travel time, at door to door, all of the usual perks, plus a real 'old school' and trusting mentality (not tracked - as long as the client on site is happy, everyone is happy!) - this is definitely not your usual, run of the mill, generic position - with the adedd bonus of not having to fight the London traffic every day!

About your recruiter..

I entered the industry in the early 2000's joining Daikin Applied (then McQuay) as an apprentice upon leaving school before progressing into a senior engineering position within the industry. In 2013, I made the crazy decision to recruit for the industry, working with both leading manufacturers and specialist service providers. Having been there and done it myself, rest assured - you won't get the usual recruitment sales pitch spill here!
