Maintenance Engineer
Shifts: Monday to Friday - 0730-1630
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Qualifications or Functional Experience:
- Formal engineering trades apprenticeship
- Special knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics, electronics, mechanical, PLC, and plant-specific details
- Logical thinking skills for fault finding and sequential plant repair
- Extensive working knowledge of core plant within the manufacturing area

Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance: As a Maintenance Engineer, conduct routine maintenance tasks to optimize machinery performance and minimize breakdowns.

Breakdown Resolution: Respond promptly to breakdowns, utilizing your Maintenance Engineer skills to troubleshoot and take action to restore functionality.

Safety Compliance: Ensure machinery aligns with safety regulations and standards, applying Maintenance Engineer expertise to take corrective measures as needed.

Technical Support: Provide guidance to operators on machinery operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, showcasing your Maintenance Engineer expertise.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement modifications for optimal performance, utilizing your Maintenance Engineer insight.

Compliance with Industry Standards: Stay updated on industry standards related to hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics, electronics, mechanical, PLC, and plant-specific details, using your Maintenance Engineer knowledge.
