Access Platform Engineers – In House

Red Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for engineers who have hydraulic, mechanical and electrical knowledge/experience/skills from an automotive and/or plant background that can repair and service access platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake all work requirements in accordance with instructions
- Complete work and tasks in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure the quality of work is in accordance with the Company
standards
- Take responsibility for all work produced
- Ensure specified targets are met and advise line manager of
any associated issues in a timely manner
- Dispose of all waste products in accordance with Company guidelines
- Be pro-active in recommending ways of improving efficiency and quality
- Ensure correct tooling and materials are used on all jobs
- Ensure all documents including job reports are completed daily
- Ensure all hours worked are allocated to the correct job
- Promote a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly workplace by observing and adhering to the Companies Health & Safety Policies and other associated accreditations/regulations.
Person Specification:
- Demonstratable experience with hydraulic, mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Calm, methodical, positive and pro-active approach to tasks
- Steady and compliant
- Self- motivator with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and instructions
- Proficiency and accuracy in completion of job reports
- Ability to prioritise with excellent organisational skills
- Be prepared to undergo in-house/external training on all platforms
Qualifications:
- Advanced Technical Qualification or Time Served
- IPAF 1A, 1B, 1B+, 3A & 3B are preferred or training provided
- Valid CAP Certification or training provided
- Aware and Compliant with Working at Height Regulations
- Full, Clean Driving Licence preferred
- NPORS N104 Overhead Gantry Crane or training provided
Full Time, Permanent – 07.30am to 16.30pm Monday to
Thursday and 07.30am to 13.30pm on Friday.
