Position: Mechanical Design Engineer

• Location: Lancashire
• Type: Permanent
• Start Date: ASAP

Remuneration & Benefits:

• Salary: £37,000-£42,000 + benefits
• Holidays: 33 days, including 8 statutory holidays.
• Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible start/finish).

Primary Responsibilities: Your role as a Mechanical Design Engineer is transforming conceptual equipment designs into reality, creating 3D models and drawings. You will be highly involved in the manufacturing and testing stages.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Develop drawings and designs using Autodesk Inventor.
• Build pump and equipment specifications, primarily based around API 610.
• Generate equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Work closely with customers to refine designs and solutions.
• Oversee projects in the pump test bed and engineering shop, ensuring seamless delivery.
• End-to-end project management of individual engineered solutions.
• Work exclusively with key customer accounts, participating in regular communication.
